Blessing in Disguise V.I.P Day Santa in July 2023

Santa in July 2023

Applications are now being taken for this V.I.P. event. If you have a child or young person with a special need or disability and are not registered with us, it's easy to do so.

Nominations are welcome for those who may have been seriously ill or battling life limiting or life threatening conditions over the last festive period or for whom enjoying Christmas in December is just not an option.

Nominate a child or young person who has kept on smiling against all the odds, to come along and have a special day with Blessing in Disguise. Santa will be there and his helpers to ensure that each and every child invited to attend, gets to spend time with him and to make precious memories.

 

The press will be attending to capture the special day.

Blessing in Disguise Gift Aid Form

If you have made or are making a donation to Blessing in Disguise and you are a UK tax payer you can 'Gift Aid' your donations, making them worth 25% more to us, at no extra cost to you.

 

Simply complete and return our 'Gift Aid' form and we will do the rest.

V.I.P. FUN FAIR ANNOUNCEMENT

Blessing in Disguise in association with A.L. Silcock Family Fun Fair's will be hosting the Blessing in Disguise V.I.P. Spring Fun Fair at DW Stadium, Wigan on Sunday 21st May 2023, 11am - 1pm. Wristbands are £1 each

Autumn Fun Fair at DW Stadium, Wigan on Sunday 22nd October 2023 - 11am - 1pm Wristbands will be £2 each

 

TO REQUEST TICKETS YOU MUST BE REGISTERED WITH BLESSING IN DISGUISE.

Tickets are only available to the immediate family of the child who is registered with Blessing in Disguise due to limited tickets. Tickets are not intended for the neighbour's kids and anyone outside of the registered household. Anyone found to be abusing this kind generosity will be excluded from future events.

Wristbands have been £1 each for a quite a while now but due to the increase costs for the ride operators, we will be increasing wristbands to £2 each for the October event, which is still less than the cost of 1 ride and just enables to continuing to offer this event to our registered families. To reserve your wristband please INBOX Blessing in Disguise. We are expecting there to be high demand so please be patient if you are waiting for a reply

Thanks to the money we raised with your support we have provided much needed and equipment totally free of charge to children and young people and their families across the UK and made a significant difference to their lives.

  • safety aids & video monitoring equipment for autistic children & children with epilepsy

  • dark dens & sensory equipment

  • I.C.E. badges, lanyards & wristbands

In addition to equipment provided, we have organised several family days out and events full of cherished memories for children and young people with disabilities.

 

We had a huge success and tremendous feedback from the specially adapted funfair events that we organised in association with A.L. Silcock providing exclusive VIP access for children and young people with disabilities.

 

  • easter egg runs and toy donations to the childrens wards of hospitals, hospices and S.E.N. schools

  • Christmas party and tea with Santa

  • family respite breaks

  • assisted transport

  • days out - fun fair, cinema, bowling, tourist attractions, community events, coffee mornings plus much more.
