Sharon re-established from the ashes, a much loved community hub after it had once been a previously run popular local attraction, which was closed over 9 yrs ago due to lack of resources and support from the local authority. This is once again a thriving market thanks to the dedication and support from Sharon and her team, and has given a huge economic boost to the local community and put Hindley back on the map.

As a trustee, I have always wanted to do more than just sit behind a desk. I am passionate about the work of the Charity and take pride in being part of the application review panel. In addition to playing my part towards fundraising for the Charity, I completed the Wigan 10K run in 2018 and I will be taking part in the Wigan 10 mile run in March 2019 to raise funds for Blessing in Disguise.
