Huge thank you to Mick Davies for bravely taking on the challenge and raising in excess of £1300 (total figure to be confirmed)
Mick's night out with a difference! Mick had a sleep over night on his own in a little tent on top of a huge mountain in the Lake District on top of the ‘Langdale Pikes’ on Saturday 6th August 2016 in aid of raising funds for Blessing in Disguise Children's Charity.
Mick walked a distance of the circuit; maybe about 10 miles; up the valley, up the mountain, over the tops, then back down at the far end of the valley, 2,326ft to the top! With a sleepover in between which ended up being in heavy rain and gale force winds. The tent didn't survive, but thankfully Mick lived to tell the tale, and had to drive home in just his boxer shorts, fleece and flip-flops (the rest of his kit got saturated
Well done Mick and thank you for raising a fantastic amount for Blessing in Disguise! You are our Blessing in Disguise!
